As part of Public Garden April 2017, this one hour talk with Rei Shito will focus on upcoming off-runway trends in the fashion industry this 2017. The talk will be conducted in English by Ms. Rei Shito.
As a Tokyo-based street photographer and journalist, Rei Shito covers the current off-runway street trends and contributes to Japanese and international magazines and newspapers.
Ms. Shito observes the street and examines how ordinary and everyday folk incorporates fashion trends in real life. Reporting from Paris, Tokyo and other cities, she is in touch with how the world incorporates fashion into their daily life.
As the author of two books covering the Tokyo fashion scene and a consultant and advisor for brands, Ms. Shito has experience in conducting talks in Japan, covering the upcoming trends. This includes fashion seminars. lectures, as well as a regular radio program on J-Wave 81.3FM in Japan.
Her clients and audience include Bunka Fashion College, Isetan, colette, Margaret Howell, H&M, Nikon, Reebok, and more.
